Tom Ward has taken two wins from two races at Assen for round 10 of the British Superbike championship.
Taking part in the support race BeNeCup, featuring mostly riders for the Netherlands and Belgium, he was one of only 6 Brit’s competing on the grid. There were also riders from Luxembourg, Germany and France.
The Canterbury lad put his Bradbury Racing Suzuki P2 on the grid and got off to a great start for race 1, ultimately taking the chequered flag 19.5s ahead of second place in just 14 laps.
The Pirelli National Superstock 1000 rider achieved his best finish of fifth place while racing at Brands Hatch earlier in the year, but was accustom to running at the front when he was on a 600.
Race 2 saw the British rider taking a similarly health win of 26 seconds ahead of nearest competitor, Sander Claessen in second. We hope we can see Tom running right at the sharp end in the Superstock 1000 grid soon.
