UK’s First All Female Motorcycle Race

No Limits Racing is set to debut the UK’s first all female motorcycle race. The race is due to take place this weekend on Sunday 1st September at Donington Park and will be a 15 minute qualifying session followed by a 9 lap race.

The event has been created to raise awareness and vital funds for the Prevent Breast Cancer charity. It is of course also there to promote ladies that race regularly at club level. The event was the idea of No Limits regular, Gemma Viles. Gemma’s hope was to bring female racers closer together as well as raising awareness for the cause.

No Limits regularly hold events to support charities, setting the example for other clubs. The entry fees for the ladies are £99, of which No Limits will donate £50 to the charity. Ladies wishing to participate in the race can enter here. Those who are wishing to donate, can donate via the just giving page here.

Prices are £12 online or £16 on the gate for the entire timetables worth of racing on Sunday, so be sure to go and support this good cause.

    1. We’ve actually been made aware of another in 1969! It’s funny how much comes out of the woodwork from a news article. Either way, there’s not been many and it’s for a great cause!

  1. It was a great race for a great cause. Youngest on the grid was 14 and oldest was over 50. Mix of seasoned racers and those who got their ACU just to do this. The atmosphere there was brilliant and it was one race in a day of great racing 🙂 I don’t know the total figure raised yet, but I believe it was several thousand pounds.
Well done Gemma, and everyone else involved. Glad I was able to be there 🙂
